"Our vacations in Alberta were already scheduled and reserved, when we had the chance to win the auction CNIB for the Heartland set visit.
(The day we arrived) Heartland was not filming at the ranch, but Gordon, the publicist of Heartland, who would be our guide all day, thought we would like to see the ranch before going to where filming is taking place. We met Gordon at the gate of ranch. What a beautiful location of the Heartland set ranch, rounded of green meadows with the Rockies in the background. We walked down the road to the barn, and so we could appreciate what a quiet place it is, even more beautiful in real as on the TV. There was nothing on the horizon to spoil the view, the grass was cut and wrapped in bundles of hay, and there were even two horses on the meadow.
Heartland was filming at a racetrack today, so we took the car and drove to the racetrack. When we arrived, Gordon shows us the “circus”. The circus is all the trailers used by the production to bring all that is required for the filming, and the actor’s dressing rooms. This circus is moving from set to set, according to the film locations. It was an awesome day, we all enjoyed it and we will remember this day a long time. In addition to meeting the actors and to visit the set, we learned so much about filming a TV show.

· For items valued over $100, insurance and tracking will be added to shipping costs.

Q. If I buy more than one item, will you combine shipping to save me some money?
Yes, we are happy to combine items for shipping whenever possible to save you money on shipping. Combined shipping will depend on the packaging and shipping needs of your items (some items must be packaged and shipped separately because of their size, weight, or because they are fragile). The combined shipping fee/cost will be determined by: the size and weight of the package, the destination, and the cost of total insurance on the package.

No, as this is a charity auction and all items were donated to the charity, there is no sales tax on your purchase.

CNIB will not be issuing a tax receipt as you are buying an item rather than making a donation. Please contact your personal tax advisor for more information on this issue.
