Seller Notes: Looks like it is only a couple years old!!! Fantastic bike for it being 42 years old. Has scratch, nick, ding. NOTHING MAJOR!
Year: 1971 Mileage: 6,472
Make: Honda Vehicle Title: Clear
Model: CB

Thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Casey Anderson. I personally revived this motorcycle. It is a 1972 Honda CB750. There are ONLY 6,472 ORIGINAL miles on it. I received it from the original owner. He and his family would ride it every couple of years then park it for a few more. This is ALL OF THE ORIGINAL PAINT!!!
After I acquired this CB, I decided I wanted to bring it back to it's former glory. After weeks of hard work, it is shining just like it did back in the '70s. A lot of time and attention to detail went into this beauty.
I am a CB750 nut. Even in my younger age, I have owned close to 100 of CB750's. I absolutely love them. I have even restored a 1969 SANDCAST model. It now resides back in Japan in a private collection. You can check out that Sandcast and other bikes I have done at my website. Ebay will not allow links nor web address', so google caseyandersonmotorcyles to find it.
I will say out of all the CB750s I have owned, this one is by far the tightest and smoothest. If you watch the video of me riding the bike, I was laughing most of the time out of joy. It is such a great feeling to ride a bike that old and it just rides so beautifully. Everything working like it should. Even the annoying winker buzzer. You would almost swear the bike was new.
I could write pages on what was done to this bike but I will keep it short and to the point....

- Then entire bike is completely tore down.
- Every nut, bolt, and washer is bagged and titled
- All body work and the frame are wet sanded and buffed out.
- Every part on the bike (body work, wiring, wheels, fenders, battery box, etc, etc) is de-greased,            scrubbed, and then polished.
- All electrical connections are cleaned and lubed.
- All aluminum parts were sanded and polished to give that factory look.
- All cables are inspected and lubed
- All bearings (wheel and neck) are cleaned, inspected, re-greased, and re-installed
- Engine internals inspected and adjusted (very clean and nice)
- Points (original) were cleaned and adjusted
- Clutch disks (original) were pulled, inspected, cleaned, re-installe, and adjusted
- New tires and tubes
- New battery
- Forks disassembled, inspected, rebuilt (new seals and fluid), and reassembled.
- Wiring harness cleaned, inspected, and reinstalled with correct routing (per Honda shop manual).
- Nuts and bolts assembled with Loc-Tite.
Carburetors ultra-sonically cleaned, adjusted, reassembled and balanced.
- The motorcycle had aftermarket grips, seat cover, and finned engine covers (bolt on over stock covers). The seat cover was replaced with a Honda aftermarket cover for the correct year, Honda NOS grips, and the finned engine covers and longer bolts were removed and Honda bolts were pulled from a parts engine so it has Honda bolts in it.
- New chain.
- HM 300 pipes on cylinders 2 and 3. HM 341 on cylinders 1 and 4. I personally never have seen the cross of the part numbers like this. Maybe you have. The pipes are in unbelievable condition. The number 4 pipe has a very small hole in it. You can fit a pencil in it. It is in the back of the pipe. Probably wouldnt see it if you weren't looking for it. Other than the one small hole, the pipes are the best ORIGINAL pipes Ive ever seen.
- Early KO K1 style upper triple tree and Gauges.
- All lights, switches, and gauges work perfectly. All of the bulb sockets are inspected and cleaned. Handle bar switches tore apart and lubed.
- Front and rear brake systems tore apart, inspected, and rebuilt. Bike stops perfectly. Still has the original shoes and pads with plenty of life on them.

I can keep going and going on about the bike but to sum it up, this bike is the most original and lowest mile CB750 I personally have ever seen. With the rise of cafe racers and choppers, many of these CB750s that were in prime condition were cut up. It is SOOOOOOO hard to find one in this original condition now. I have restored many CB750s back to showroom condition but they never have that feeling like an original bike possesses.
Lately I have noticed that a lot of Ebay motorcycles are being sold with edited or photoshopped pictures. Please review all of the pictures. I can assure you personally that these pictures have not been altered or photoshopped. I took them just a few minutes ago. This is how the bike looks.
I have included two videos for you to watch. One is of the bike and myself on an evening ride. The other is some pictures I have put together of the revival. You must excuse the captions on that video. Somehow they got all out of time. You can get a pretty good idea of what took place on this bike.
The auction will go for 7 days. I do not require a Paypal deposit. The motorcycle needs to be paid for by 7 days of the auction's end in the form of a certified check from a bank found across the nation (Wells Fargo, Chase, US bank, Bank of America, etc, etc). After I receive payment, I will overnight you the title and keys. The winner of the auction is responsible for shipping. I will gladly store the bike here for you until you arrange shipping. I will assist the shippers and take pictures of the process for you.
There is a reserve. Please do not email me asking for the reserve. I will not tell you. All I can suggest is to bid to the point of your comfort zone. If you really want this motorcycle, then bid to win!! Ask yourself when is the last time you have seen a CB750 with this low of miles and in this original condition for sale?

On Apr-14-14 at 09:56:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

Comes with a clear California title. Engine number - CB750E-1095933 Frame number - CB750-1095704 A couple people have asked the following questions... Why are there signal lights on the gauges and handle bar clamps? I have not seen many bikes with this configuration but if you search late '71 and early '72 CB750 will will see this. Yes, weird but if you notice, there are no signal lights on the tach compared to earlier tachs. Is the left mirror cracked? No, not it is not cracked. The mirrors are very nice. Why is there the early style forks on this bike? Once again, Some of the late '71 and early '72 bikes came with these. Just because the motorcycle is titled as a '72 doesn't mean it was built in '72.
