Made in London, by John James Whiting, in 1824.

A Very Good Georgian Sterling Silver Basting Spoon.  Made in London, in 1824, by John James Whiting.  A Charming, Heavy Fiddle Pattern Basting Spoon.  Engraved to the terminal with the initial R.

Condition:

The Marks:  Well Struck.

The Spoon:  Good.  No splits, dents or repairs.  A little wear to the bowl.

  • Lion passant 
  • Date letter A
  • Leopards head
  • William IV head duty mark 

Length:             Twelve inches      30.5cm

Bowl Width:      Two inches          5.4cm
