I like the koss headphones, especially the sound, but the material is questionable. I am from the old way,but do understand new techno. I did wish that we could still get electronics made from more durable materials, but the sound is great for the money.

In short these are GREAT HEADPHONES!I purchased mine for less than $10.00 with free shipping. Here's what you get when you purchase a pair, awesome frequency response that can reproduce low and high end with clarity at all volumes. These phones are very light on your head, stay in place while you jog,exercise,work in the yard,etc.I have used them for hours at a time and never once had a second of discomfort. They are made out of plastic, do not let that stop you from purchasing them. I have owned my pair for almost a year and have not had any issue, I do use care when I put them on and take them off, but I do that with all my phones. These phones play ALL types of music equally well, from Rock to Rap, Jazz to Classical. Sure you can find better phones, but you will spend tons more ... Incredible sound and inexpensive
When you buy headphones at this price you don't expect excellent sound. Somehow Koss has figured out how to produce great fidelity on a shoe string budget. The low tones are deep and accurate not boomy. The mids are great for natural voice reproduction and the highs are clear without being lost or piercing. A perfect headphone at a ridiculous price. Buy two or three.

100 dollar sound for 17 bucks
I have had a lot of headphones in my time. I had a very nice tube amp combined with sennheiser hd600 headphones that would put you straight into the zone. This is my fifth set of these headphones that i have bought and everyone of them is just simply awsome. I have kept one set for myself and given the other four away as gifts. One friend saw me next and said... "these headphone's Rock"... another friend told me... "exquisite,,,, expuisite, top quality..." . For less than 20 bucks you cannot go wrong. Koss Headphones
The fact that these headphones are so inexpensive is amazing. They have excellent sound quality. They are comfortable since they are very light. I also find the slider volume control is an excellent feature eliminating the need to readjust volume control on the device they are connected to. The only changes I can think of is to change the volume control to have separate L & R controls and a little more cushioning to block exterior noise. I really love these headphones. Unless you are an avid audiophile, for the cost, these headphones do a very fine job in sound reproduction.The fact that these headphones are so inexpensive is amazing.
