Hello ladies and gentlemen and thank you for exploring my eBay listing for this highly collectible scale model RR boxcar!
You are considering the purchase of ONE, (1), LIONEL, LIMITED EDTION, B & O RAILROAD MUSEUM “ROUNDHOUSE RESTORATION FUND” BOXCAR, PRODUCT NUMBER 6052330000.
Remember, this LIMITED EDITION piece was only produced in a QUANTITY OF only 500 PIECES!
Here’s a little history behind this unique COLLECTOR’S ITEM:
Lionel LLC, created, designed and donated these handsome model RR boxcars to the B & O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Maryland, as a generous gift in support of the “Roundhouse Restoration Fund.” You see, one half of the lower roof of the Museum’s National Historic Landmark Roundhouse collapsed, (see picture below), after a record snowfall on President’s Day, February 17, 2003. A portion of the proceeds of the original sale of these items went directly to support the restoration and rebuilding of the heavily damaged B & O Railroad Museum and its world-class collections, which caused its nearly two year closure. The Museum reopened on Saturday, November 13, 2004, to the marvel of train enthusiasts everywhere!
ABOUT THE LIONEL BOXCAR:

Þ The Boxcar also comes with a letter from the Executive Director of the Museum detailing the facts stated above. The letter is made out to me, the owner of White Mountain Trading Company.
