Up for auction Large  Vintage  galvanized watering can , after all these years, still has original paper label , label reads,


"RUSTPROOF and LEAK PROOF, NO PAINTED SPRINKLER, GUARANTEED BY DURO  HOT GALVANIZING, EACH SPRINKLER DIPPED IN MOLTEN ZINC, ZINC KEEPS OUR THE CORROSION AND PAINT LETS IN".


Appears that it may have  never  been used  I see no rust, just dust.

CONDITION, has one  dent as you can see in the photo and will need a bit of a cleaning, I did not dust or clean as I didn't want to disturb the paper label. Came from an Estate sale of my Great Uncles.

 I will give you the measurements, as I really don't want to put water in it to get the liquid measurement.

from bottom to top of sprinkler spout is 16" high, base is  9" across side to side, distance around the outside 28 1/4" not including the handle.

Looks to me when this was made, they didn't have the technology they have today, as it is definitely detailed in the making.
