You are bidding on a 200 foot spool of brand new 20/44 Litz wire. This wire contains 20 strands of individually insulated AWG #44 (0.05 mm) wires. Double layer nylon for the outside insulation. Outer diameter is 0.36 mm. Insulation voltage 500V. This Xizi brand
Litz wire was manufactured on June of 2011 and meets the GB11018 and RoHs
standard. It uses double layer nylon for the outside insulation and polyester
insulating film for
each copper strand. It is very easy to solder with a simple 30 watt
soldering iron. The Litz wire, made from #44 strand wire, is
best used for operating on frequencies ranging from 350 KHz to 850 KHz. You can use this Litz wire to
make the high Q coils, traps, or loop antennas for your high quality crystal
radio. The quality
of this Litz wire is almost the same as the US made Litz wire, but the price is much lower.
