      •  Oneway STRONGHOLD CHUCK is designed for large lathes (16" swing or greater) to provide maximum gripping power.

      This heavy duty chuck is very popular among novice and advanced woodturners alike. The large body diameter and heavy weight make it especially desirable on medium to large sized lathes. Its intuitive powerful single-handed clamping mechanism utilizes a key and scroll configuration to provide maximum gripping power (5 to 1 ratio), while the patented jaw design and self-centering capabilities ensure a tight grip of a wide range of stock. The nickel plated body accompanied with hardened base jaws and scroll ensure the chuck will stand up to the rigours of everyday turning.

      Oneway takes safety very seriously. This chuck has a patented over-extension prevention system literally making it impossible for the jaws to come loose from the chuck body during operation. The powerful combination of precision machining, attention to detail, and the fact that the design and development was by woodturners, this chuck will not disappoint!

      The STRONGHOLD chuck combined with the standard #2 jaws, the larger #4 jaws, and the oversized Mega Jumbo Jaws creates an extremely useful and versatile package to accommodate any turning project!
