Tailors tip:- most of my customers know their chest size, but do not have clue about waist sizes. If you have a pair of trousers that fit you nicely, button them lay them on the floor and measure across the waistband. i.e. if they measure 18 inches then you are 36 waist. Ignore the label inside as when i made for next and m&s& selfridges I used to put extra ease in the waistband without the man in street Knowing.
