Should have researched more
The Mikuni HSR42 carburetor is just fine and as described. The problem is I am upgrading my 1998 Fatboy (EVO) from the stock CV40 and did not research enough. Typically this Mikuni carb comes in a kit with the airbox adapter, breather tube, and some bits and pieces. This carb come alone and now I cannot find anywhere the needed parts unless they are part of a kit. Of course the kit includes the HSR42, so I am not sure what to do. I also need to change the throttle and idle cables because of the 90 degree bend. All my fault, but I am now planning to stick with the CV40 and somehow getting rid of this Mikuni HSR42.The Mikuni HSR42 carburetor is just fine and as described. This really woke up my 94 Wide Glide with the Evo motor. Easy install as well replacing the stock CV. Easy to turn, pretty much setup right out of the box.
