    Great lids for the money!!

    Great set of lids for putting speakers in. Just know they do not come with seals or the 2 metal plates for the hooks on the back. You will have to buy new ones or remove yours. I removed mine and cleaned them up and installed them with 3m 2 sided weather stripping tape. Only thing i didn't like is the way the speaker bolted up. I modified mine to bolt on top instead of underneath. I drilled the holes out for mounting the speakers and used marine grade stainless with nylon locking nuts. Before mounting speakers on top you will have to trim some of the small tabs with a razor. Also put a bead of black silicone around it before mounting speaker, to make it truly water tight. I used polk ultra marine speakers with a 400w digital marine amp by kenwood. But the 600w kenwood marine i think would ...

    Product was pretty good.

    This is probably a great product for most people and it would have been for me if it wasn't for the quality of one of the lids. The paint was scuffed (not scratched) and the speaker grille has some off color around the boarder. I did not bother to send it back because it would have cost me money to do so and I was not guaranteed to get a flawless replacement.

    These Lids are Junk

    Installed on a 2013 street glide. Pour lid design. The screws that hold the grill down are loose. There are holes formed into the lid that would allow water in but we had to seal ourselves. Lids required modification to fit hertz 6x9. Paint was okay but you can see were the lid strap attaches. I would not recommend to anyone that wants a quality product.
