The collection comprises four dozen of the series' most popular and challenging pre-Guitar Hero: World Tour tracks, including Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" and "I Love Rock 'n Roll" by Joan Jet and the Blackhearts (Guitar Hero); "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas and Alice in Chains' "Them Bones" (Guitar Hero II); "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister and "Nothin' but a Good Time" by Poison (Rocks the 80s); and "Rock and Roll All Nite" by Kiss and Heart's "Barracuda" (Legends of Rock). All 48 tracks are compatible with the game's full selection of contemporary Guitar Hero: World Tour instruments, including the drum kit and mic controllers, allowing a complete band of players to rock out on tunes previously only available to one or two guitarists. I love this game. Like they all say, it's the "best" GH songs, but for the whole band, which I think is very neat. The majority of the songs on it are my favorites, so that's a plus. The first two guitar heroes were the best in the series, and the majority of the songs are from those two games. The charts are a lot different in some, but very similar for others. New charts: good and bad. The venues are very original and unlike any others. A new feature is that it has some kind of storyline. Guitar hero is so awesome, every one of their games have been great, Guitar hero Metallica is the best so far because it is my favorite band. I bought this because it was cheap and needed it because I only needed this one and Band Hero to complete my guitar hero collection, their is nothing I dislike about guitar hero and I suggest that anyone who likes guitar hero to get this one because it brings back some of their greatest songs that they have had on other guitar heros.Guitar hero is so awesome, every one of their games have been great, Guitar hero Metallica is the best so far because it is my favorite band.
