T90 Pro Leg Pads

The Sherwood T90 Leg Pads feature a hybrid style design, but their ultra thin profile and flat knee rolls make them work well for butterfly style goalies as well.

The Sherwood T90 leg pads utilize a flat, square face design with flat knee rolls to provide easier rebound control and maximized surface coverage. The T90 leg pads don't have any breaks in the outer roll which helps to keep the pads shape and widen the butterfly position, due to the lack of flex. Sherwood has used synthetic leather on these pads with a stitched on weave material in the face to provide the design. The majority of the back side uses a dense nylon material to provide excellent durability.

The Sherwood T90 leg pads have an under-pant thigh protector that is designed to have a tight fit so the protection moves right with the body. Sherwood has used a fairly unique design in the knee stack that allows the goalie to customize the knee stack. The inner layer is a soft foam landing surface that is lined with a Nash leather to give an incredibly comfortable feel on the knee. The next two layers use a dense foam to provide shock dampening when dropping down, but these two layers are removable for those goalies that use a separate knee pad or just like less bulk in the knee. Goalies can also add to this knee stack if they prefer more knee lift. These pads have additional protection on the inner side of the boot to ensure the goalie's foot is fully protected. The T90 pads use an extended strap design on the inner calf flap that allows the pads to fit snugly while still covering a large portion of the five-hole.

Outer Roll:

* The inner side of this flap uses an extended strap to allow the leg straps to be pulled tight, but keep the flap in position to cover the five hole.

* Knee flap for improved sliding

Knee Stack:

* 4-piece knee stack design

* Inner Layer - Thin, soft foam with Nash liner to provide comfort, and extra soft foams where the knee is centered

* Second Layer - Thick, dense foam to provide shock absorption when dropping down

* Third Layer - Same as the second layer, but with the outer side covered with leather for easier sliding

* Outer Layer - Offset from the rest of the knee stack, but uses a thin rigid foam design with leather on the outer side for easier sliding

* The outer layer is adjusted with 2 velcro straps to hang a bit looser to provide more coverage or tighter to provide a more traditional feel

* The middle two layers are also removable for goalies that prefer to use a separate knee protector or to reduce the overall bulk

Calf Wrap:

* Two foam pieces with heavy duty nylon lining wrap directly around the leg when straps are tightened

* Leg Channel:

* Nash leather liner

* Deep leg channel - offers comfort and increased stability

Boot Channel:

* Ice Bite Offset Foot Hole Principle - Offers better movement in the butterfly position

* Leathers used to offer increased durability

Straps:

* 2" elastic velcro strap on extended upper thigh guard

* 1.5" elastic velcro strap on the inner knee stack

* Two 1" nylon buckle straps around the knee

* Both of these straps offer a large range of adjustment for the goalies that prefer a loose fit higher up on the pad

* Three 3/4" leather straps over shin

* One 3/4" leather boot strap

Toe bridge with laces to secure the fit around the skate
