Seller Notes: “This offering is for a pair of antique Leather Spade Sole Boots or Shoes. The shoes are made of ... “This offering is for a pair of antique Leather Spade Sole Boots or Shoes. The shoes are made of leather having eleven sets of eyelets. The shoes are about a mans size 9.5, or a woman's size 10.5, please see the stamping on the insides. The shoes also have an exterior sole measurement of 11.25" end to end with an inside length of app 10.75" end to end. The width across the ball of the foot is app. 3.5" side to side across the ball of the foot. The heels are marked "LIGHT TREAD TRADEMARK TRIPLE WEAR". The sole arches are also marked "FLEXIBLE CANVAS INSOLE". Based on the style, construction and maker the shoes date to the 1910's to 1920's. The condition of the boots is excellent with only very light minor wear but that's about it, the soles have a bit more wear but only as should be expected. The condition of the leather is still quite soft and supple, clean and damage free. The laces are new and in in excellent condition.”
