It took four years to construct,photograph, and write, and for the first time in CD Book form, The On30 Tall Timber Railroad is now available. This 9x12 On30 layout was featured as a railroad you can build with a monthly series of articles that ran until Model Railroading magazine until the magazine was no longer published. Unfortunately the series was never completed in Model Railroading magazine before they stopped publishing. 
 
Now, this CD Book features all of the completed chapters with tips on painting, weathering, photography, and more. In addition, there are special written and photographic contributions never before printed, from well known model railroader Dave Deno. 
 
There is also an updated section on hand laid track and a reference to a free CAD program you can download and use.  And, all of the articles have been updated to today's standards making this CD book as current as possible.
 
This CD book features 107 pages and nearly190 photographs and illustrations. Also included in the Tall Timber On30 Railroad CD Book is a comprehensive list of links to logging sites, railroads, manufactures, and more! This is a must have for any scale model railroader or enthusiast.
 
The CD has both MS Word .DOC versions and Adobe .PDF versions and all of the graphics have been compressed for print form. You can easily print this book or view it from your PC. Also, each chapter has been separated in both MS Word and Adobe formats so older computers can open the book up by individual chapter without wiping out your virtual memory.

 

 

It does not matter what scale you model in G scale, O scale S, scale HO scale, N scale, Z scale, narrow gauge, standard gauge, steam, or diesel, or if you are just a rail enthusiast, this is a fantastic collection of photographs and materials at an incredible price.
