I haven't tested it yet; I just like to have these in stock, in my humble lil at-home repair shop. I've used (AFAIK) the exact same item by another seller, and they seem to work as intended, delivering proper USB3 speeds via the PCI-E lanes. Price is fair and these are a good solution for re-using older chasis/motherboards.

Great card for the money. I finally have USB 3.0 on my 12 year old PC! FYI the card comes with no box, just an electrostatic bag and an install CD (not needed in Windows 10). Card also has a Molex power port for full USB 3 support.

    True USB 3.0!

    Tested a Sandisk Ultra Flair 64GB & got above 100MB/s through this card! $14, quick shipping & it looks good, 5 stars for me! One thing I'd say is the soldering of the Molex connector good keep the port a little more snugly.

    Serviceable, but barely. You get what you pay for.

    ↑ Mostly works, only when booted into OS with very specific non-standard driver needs ↓ Cheap Materials / Poor Design • Back plate that sits high in the slot making it difficult to plug in some devices • Cheap ports that make that grinding noise when you plug in • Molex connector placement is bad for cable management • Gets hot under load

    prefer front usb outlets

    great product but I would rather have a usb3 outlet in the front of my computer and this product only has rear outlets, so I would not buy it if I had to do it over again.
