great for grandkids
since the new pete's dragon came out we thought it would be interesting to see what they thought and they liked the old one better even their dad liked it and he grew up watching it on the old vhs that we used to have unfortuneatly they took it home and the wife and i have not viewed it ourselves

Overall a wonderful movie for the whole family!
This is a wonderful, happy movie from my childhood. The music is moving or funny or just fun & teaches about making room for everyone no matter who or what they are. LOVE the actors chosen for this film; they're perfect! Some songs are a bit "violent" for this day of PC, but all works out for the best in the end. I recommend it for anyone! Love the special featurette on the disc as well. In a time when only BlueRay is allowed special features, it's nice to have a regular DVD give a little. The only thing that would be even more interesting is to see "where they are now" on the main actors. Some have passed away, but others are still around.This is a wonderful, happy movie from my childhood. Pete’s Dragon
This was one of my favorite movies as a child. I got this for my daughter, she really enjoyed it for our movie night. I was so happy to find one of my childhood favorites to share the memories with my daughter.
