Advanced Features

FIPS 140-2 Certified AES 256-bit Volume-based Data Encryption

The disk volume with FIPS 140-2 certified AES 256-bit encryption can only be accessed by an authorized encryption password or key. This prevents the sensitive government or businesses data on the Turbo NAS from unauthorized access and breach even if the hard disk drives or the entire system were stolen.

Advanced RAID Management with Hot-swap Design

The Turbo NAS offers RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 5+hot spare, 6, single, and JBOD disk configurations. It also supports hot-swap design so that a failed member drive of a RAID configuration (RAID 1 or above only) can be replaced by hot swapping without turning off the server.

Global Hot Spare

The Global Hot Spare feature allows the administrator to share spare drives with multiple RAID volumes on the Turbo NAS. When a hard drive fails in any RAID volume, the global hot-spare drive will automatically replace the failed drive to prevent data from being lost. Compared with a local spare drive, the Global Hot Spare function offers more efficient use of spare drives.

Online RAID Capacity Expansion

The storage capacity of a RAID configuration can be expanded by replacing larger hard drives. All the data will be kept and seamlessly moved to the newly installed hard drives without turning off the server.

Return Policy

If merchandise is defective we will supply you with exact same model replacement. Generally NO refunds or credits. If an exception is made to allow refund (even for defective items as replacements are free) a 20% restocking fee will be charged and this fee must be sent to us via PayPal in advance of return. (so we can refund the original EBay transaction in full) There is a 14 day limit from order ship date to request a consideration for refund.
Store warranty is 30 days from date of purchase after which manufacturer warranty must be used.
If the exact item is not available, we may substitute the item with a similar item of equal or greater value with customer consent.
Defective item or content discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Returns must have all original packaging and accessories. Item must be shipped back in new condition and properly packed. Failure to enclose the product in a shipping box will void the return and product will be returned.
RMA number is required for all returns.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.
Units returned and found not to be defective will be returned at the buyer's expense.

Shipping & Handling

Shipping prices, please find the shipping charge in the product’s "Shipping and Handling" tab. We use ONLY FedEx for international shipments (no post office).
Our price and shipping do not include customs/duty (taxes) for international orders. Customs and duty (taxes) is to be paid by the customer to the carrier/customs office upon the product’s arrival to the destination country. Customs and duty may reach as high as 60% of the value of products and sometimes higher! Please check with local customs office on rate if you have any questions before purchasing.
We do NOT ship or sell to following countries: Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Viet Nam.
Some Countries, such as U.K., customers may receive the shipment first and then is sent the customs (taxes) charges but those taxes remain the customer’s responsibility.
