Red & Gold Enamel Evil Eye Ring

This unique evil eye ring is part of our new line of Enamel Evil Eye Rings. Different colors of enamel are used on each ring to make a colorful and unique design on each piece.  All of the rings are made with a basic silver or gold coated metal and then enhanced with the enamel to create all of the amazing desgins you see here. Each ring has an adjustable band giving you the option to change the ring size to your own prefered size. The ring you see has a 37mm wide round gold ring with a 6mm wide gold metal band. The evil eye ring is decorated with red, blue and green enamel and then three enamel evil eyes run across the center.

What is the Evil Eye ?

The theory behind the concept of the Evil Eye is that if a person gazed at something, be it a house, children, fruits and vegetables, livestock, trees etc, the things got spoiled or the health of the children deteriorated, it was regarded as the deed of an Evil Eye and the onlooker was regarded as the person with an Evil Eye. It is definitely a curse of envy that can either be deliberate or involuntary. In most of the cases however, the possessor of the evil eye does not intend to cause harm to others using their evil eye as they themselves are not aware of the powers they possess.

The belief of the evil eye has no religious boundaries as it coexists with almost every religion from Christianity to Islam. It is even mentioned in the Old Testament and a big part of the Jewish folklore as well. Throughout history, the evil eye has affected the lives of many and has shaped many cultures in their beliefs and behavior.
