The item was delivered as described, and arrived very quickly, also was packed safely with the case being in good condition on arrival. I would order from this company again, due to having great communication throughout my purchasing process ... they answered all my questions almost not Ling after I asked. In my opinion MovieMars is a great company to order from. I hope this helps some of you out there on the fence, about ordering from this company....

A wonderful tribute to the Alhambra and the City of Granada. . .

It IS the early morning sun rising over the city of Granada as you stand on the rooftop terrace of the Alhambra. I've been there and "heard" the music of Miles in my head as the sun came up; and, the day began. I have never experienced a "truer" tone poem! What more can I say. . .

  • sketches of spain is a classic

I was turned on to Miles Davis music by the recent movie Miles Ahead. This was mentioned as one of his early classics. It is more than your ordinary jazz collection; the classical music influences are everywhere. It might seem like a good choice as easy listening for a long drive, but the depth and variety of the music is almost distracting. And when those horns break out you'd swear all the cars on the street are honking at you. After listening to it four times, I can only say I'm looking forward to the fifth. A very high quality recording.

  • A landmark album...period.

Jazz is a truly American art form, and its masters are largely from here, but this is one album by a great master that transcends the medium. Miles Davis' "Sketches of Spain" is not just great jazz, it's great music and a landmark album in the entire history of recorded music. This is an album that EVERYONE should hear to appreciate not only jazz, but the inspiration of the culture that influenced the title, the concept and the mood of the arrangements. It's virtually flawless and with new remastering sounds magnificent. I'm so glad I picked this one up - it's amazing!
