STROMBERG 97 NEW POWER VALVE-- A quality screw machine part. Stromberg power jet orfice size is in numbered drill sizes. The stock 97 came with a #65 and the 81's came with a #71. We offer all sizes from a #73 (being the smallest ) to a #50 (being the largest.-Remember-drill sizes  -the larger the # the smaller the hole-  If your valve leaks you will not get a good pump action and will cause engine to run rich. If you change your main jets and your carb still runs rich--It is probably a leaky power valve. Dont ever use a plain slotted screwdriver to remove or install your power valves.  Get a slotted screwdriver that is the same width as the slot in the powervalve and grind a v slot in the center of the blade. This will allow you to remove the power valve and not toutch the center stem. Just a slight bending of the stem will cause the valve not to seat and it will leak.These fit the Stromberg 97's--81'--and the 48's.    THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE (1) POWER VALVE. TELL US THE SIZE YOU WANT IN THE INSTRUCTIONS BOX ON THE ORDER FORM.  A QUALITY PART MADE IN THE USA .------IF YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE CHECK THE QUANITY AMOUNT ABOVE..    If this item is won with other items that specify shipping by USPS (mail), then this item can also be shipped via USPS.  If this item is won with other items taht specify UPS shipping, then all items will be shipped via UPS. ---S-9594-S-Z
