Scott 8 US (CSA) 2c Jackson Unused NG
Average. No sure if the missing ink is due to scuffing to
the face of stamp or a poor inking impression that occurred during the printing process. Brookman 2013 catalog values this stamp at $35. Would make a
good addition to any collection. No
Please Read All Terms Carefully before Bidding
If there is a
shipping fee associated with this item, and if you purchase more than one item that
have shipping fees, I do combine fees to lower them as much as possible. I do
ship all items USPS First Class mail. So, if the item package weighs 1 ounce or
less, the USPS rate for this domestically is 49c, and there is no tracking
number available at the First Class rate for what USPS considers letter size
envelope. Tracking numbers are only available for what USPS considers First
Class package size envelopes, and the rate through eBay's deal with USPS is $1.93
for the first 3 ounces. In order for me to continue shipping many of my items
FREE, they have to be shipped at the 49c rate.
If you live in a country other than the United States and its
territories, please note that I do charge shipping fees to other countries.
Again, if you purchase more than one item, I do combine fees to lower them as
much as possible.
Cancellations & Descriptions
If the listed
item is a used stamp, all cancellations should be considered to be black
colored unless otherwise noted to be another color.
there are times where I might miss something in a description which is
noticeable in the picture or pictures, and then there are times when something
may not show in the picture or pictures but is pointed out in the description. So, it is important to definitely review
both the description and the picture, not just one or the other.
FDCs, covers and other certain items I am now including an estimated value of
the item which is based on research I conduct on eBay as well as other online
sites that are retailing various items that fall somewhere within the realm of
philately/postal history I tend to sell. I am working to make these estimates
fairly realistic, and trying to do it on the conservative side. Please consider
them estimates and nothing more if you would.
Please Note: You are buying based on the
description above, which is my personal visual perception of the lot, and the
pictures posted with this listing. Please read the following carefully:
Although I make every effort to correctly describe or attribute items,
occasionally description errors do happen, and in such cases I always accept an
item back and will make full refund so long as I am notified of the situation
within fourteen days of lot receipt.
If you are
buyer who is seeking absolute perfection with the item you are looking to bid
on, please contact me before bidding detailing the imperfections you do not
want the item to have. I have a number of bidders who do just this, and it
helps me greatly in making sure they get what they want.
for any reason there is a problem with an item after the sale, please contact me immediately by email or open an eBay
resolution case, before doing anything else, so that I can
work with you to fix the problem as best possible. As nearly all my buyers will
attest, I am very straight forward with problems. Because I ship nearly all of
my items USPS First Class mail (the 1 ounce 49c domestic rate for the most
part), over past 2.5 years about one item every month or two, sometimes two
items, will go missing in the USPS system. Sounds like it is a lot, but I have
shipped 200-500 items a month over the past 2.5 years, so I guess my USPS
shipping losses are to be somewhat expected. Also, if it is a screw up on my part (don't
like making mistakes but I do), I will admit to this and again do my best to
work it out with you.
At this time, I accept
Visa and MasterCard through PayPal or other PayPal payment methods. I also
accept personal/business checks; items paid by check will ship only after the
check clears my bank. Payment
would be appreciated within 5 business days of sale end. If you need more time
than this, please email me with expected payment date. A good example of this
is: I have many buyers who bid in a subsequent auction or auctions I am
holding, and they email to let me know this so that all items they win can be
combined into one shipment which means payment will be delayed until the
subsequent auction or auctions end.
your interest and patronage.
