Standing over two feet tall, the Weird & Wacky Contraption Lab has 60 mix-and-match pieces to build an unlimited amount of contraptions. Kids can dream up crazy courses, then build and test them using this easy-to-construct Velcro-like system. Instructions offer tips and tricks on how to best manipulate the kit's components. It guides kids through five sample contraption designs while they learn how to predict the outcome of each.

Plenty of Pieces for a Variety of Play
The lab contains 66 pieces, each with a unique characteristic or function that makes it fun to play with in any configuration. Pieces range from a toilet, a cleaning mane, gears, and a cup to a zigzag ramp, boot buster, cken coop, and stunt pig cannon. There are a variety of tracks, stoppers, and steel balls so your ld will have plenty of options for creating new games.
Easy Assembly Without Adult Help
Our tester found the lab easy to assemble and ldren aged eight and up will have little trouble getting the lab up and running without adult help. The plastic pieces easily snap into place and stick to the board with the Velcro-like system. Simply snap, stick, and play.
Five Course Designs Help Kids Get Started
The lab includes an easy-to-read instructional booklet featuring five fun and educational course designs of varying complexity. Designs include Pigs in Space, Got Time to Clean?, Having Funnel Yet?, Trash can Tipper!, and Gear up for Fun! Each design follows a number of chain reactions towards an outcome--the successful launng of the stunt pig-loaded rocket launcher!
The booklet also includes tips and tricks on how to aeve a predicted result. The course designs are easy to build, but a challenge to make work effectively. This teaches valuable lessons on trial and error, problem solving, and working towards a predicted goal. Kids will be excited and proud knowing their creative changes and adjustments caused the stunt pig to launch.
