This is a pair of solid sterling silver and abalone shell screw-back earrings which were made in Guadalajara, Mexico, by a silversmith identified only by the conjoined initials, JHP.

The pair weighs 9.3 grams.  They each measure 7/8" in diameter.  They have screw-back clasps.  The backs have a circular stamp which reads, Hecho En Mexico, Guad., Mexico, the silversmiths initials, a conjoined JHP and .925.  A part of the stamp is under the screw-back clasp.

These very pretty earrings are in EXCELLENT CONDITION and only display light wear.  There are no dents, dings, or deep scratches.
