FC-4 grease for Nikon / Nikkor lenses

Regular price returns once new stock arrives... we do not know when, as this item is very difficult to source! It takes us months to years to get a hold of it, and then it sells out.

We'll take away this notice and put the proper price on it when we have more of it in stock.

You've arrived at the world's only source for small quantities of OEM lens grease for Nikon lenses.

FC-4 is a white synthetic grease suitable for helicoids, cams, slides and key slots. We sell several greases: this is the one you want for older manual focus helicoids. This is an extremely high quality optical grease, suitable for use in both hot and cold climates, down to -20 Celcius. This listing is for two (2) containers of brand new FC-4 lens grease. Each container is five grams, so you get ten (10) grams total.
Historically, FC-4 was used in the production of numerous Nikon/Nikkor lenses (see a partial list here). Note that every Nikon lens made usually uses two to four different greases, so check your manuals to see which one(s) you need.

This is the exact grease specified in the repair manuals of many Nikkor lenses, including the helicoids on these 50mm lenses:
50mm f/1.8 AiS "new" (released 1990, JAA00903)
50mm f/1.4D AiS (released 1995, JAA011051)
It is also used on cams, slots and sliding surfaces, for example on the 85mm f/1.4D AiS (released 1995, JAA33251)

Application: Use very sparingly. You do not need much more than a few dabs. Wear rubber gloves: while this grease is non-toxic, it will make your fingers tingle a bit after prolonged skin contact.

Includes: two 5 gram containers (10 grams total) of new FC-4 helicoid grease, as shown in the first two images. Comes double-bagged and a carefully packed.
