All payments, including PayPal payments, must proceed through the eBay checkout system. Simply go to the item you purchased on eBay and click the "Pay" button.
All payments are due within 7 days. If you are purchasing more than one item and wish to combine shipping please wait until you have added all items to your cart before making payment. All returns MUST have an associated Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To request an RMA number, simply email us within 7 business days of receiving your order. In your message, please include your order number, item(s) to be returned, and the reason for the return. Returns must be postmarked back to us within 7 days of receiving your RMA number. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
Option 1: Buy A New Size and Return The Original Item For A Refund:
This option is best for customers who need the replacement in a hurry or who want to ensure that their new size is in stock and available. Simply purchase a new size or style and we will ship your new order as soon as we receive payment. Return the original item along with your RMA number written on the invoice. Once we receive your return we will refund the purchase price of the returned item. Only the original merchandise price is eligible for credit. Shipping charges are non refundable.
Option 2: Return Your Item For A Refund Without Purchasing a New Product:
If you cannot find a suitable replacement in our inventory, we will refund your order, but a minimum 15% restocking fee will apply. Return the product to us with your RMA number written on the invoice, as well as a brief note indicating that you wish to be refunded. The original shipping/handling and insurance fees are non-refundable. Processing time for refunds is typically 1 week from when we receive it.
General Guidelines For Returns:
All products must be returned to us in the same condition that you received it. Shoes/boots must be returned without packing labels or tape directly on the shoe box. Due to health code regulations, we cannot accept returns for undergarments, wigs, makeup or pet costumes if the packaging has been opened.
1. Q: I want to buy other items from your eBay store - does Costume Alibi offer combined shipping discounts?
Yes. As long as you wait to pay until you're finished shopping with us, all items under the same Ebay User ID will automatically be consolidated into your eBay shopping cart. All shipping discounts will automatically apply to your order total.
2. What's the shopping cart, and how does it differ from auction bids?
The shopping cart on eBay functions like any other website. To utilize the cart system you have to opt in with eBay here: Opt-in to eBay Cart
You can add items you like onto your cart and remove them from your cart any time you want. Auction listings cannot be removed from your cart unless you are outbid.
3. Q: Can Costume Alibi ship to a different address than my PayPal or credit card billing address?
Yes! During the item payment process you will be able to enter your desired shipping address. Once you make payment a shipping label is automatically created based ONLY on the information you filled out in the checkout page regardless of what your Credit Card or PayPal billing address is, so please make sure you enter the shipping address correctly because we do not look at PayPal receipts for the shipping address.
4. Q: I usually wear a certain dress size. How do I know the corresponding size for this item?
Dress size can vary a lot between different brands so the size you normally wear may not correspond to the size of the item you are buying. Generally you should refer to the manufacturer's size chart for every one of our items. If available, always refer to the actual measurements stated within the listing description.
5. Q: How long do I have to pay for my items?
When you add items to your cart, you can take as long as you want to pay, but if we have limited quantities, and another buyer pays for the exact same item before you, the item in your cart will automatically disappear, and you will no longer be able to pay for it. For auction items and non-cart users, buyers have 7 days to pay. If you are combining auction items, payment is due by the 7th day from the end of the FIRST item that you added to your cart.
6. Q: I live near Bloomington, Indiana. May I pick up my order at your warehouse?
Yes, but not in October. Our warehouse is too busy during Halloween Season filling orders to be able to accommodate local pick ups. Any other time of year, just call our warehouse at 812-333-3450 to finalize your bill including local taxes and a pick-up time.
7. Q: What's the difference between Paypal E-checks and Paypal Instant Payments?
Paypal instant payments are credited instantly to our Paypal account and we are able to ship your order immediately. Paypal E-checks require an average of 4-7 days to clear and we will ship your order after Paypal has cleared your E-check. In order to make instant payments with Paypal you must have a valid Non-Expired credit card linked to your Paypal account and have your Paypal transactions deduct from your credit card. If your credit card is expired then Paypal will automatically withdraw money from your bank's checking account to complete the transaction. Any payments made from your checking account through Paypal is an E-check.

Please check your tracking number. If it says that your item has been delivered then you need to call your post office to see if they are holding a package for you. Sometimes they attempt a delivery when you're not home and they forget to leave a note in your mail box for you to pick it up. If the tracking indicates it was delivered by FedEx or UPS, please call the appropriate company to find out if they misplaced your package.
9. Q: I do not live in the U.S. and I have not received my order yet. What's going on?
