Great rare game made in 1966. Includes: *Two complete teams of 11 players (10 + keeper for each). All intact and in excellent condition. Based on the description on the order form for teams it appears the teams included with this game are Switzerland and Italy although the description of the Italy socks is not correct. It's also possible the teams included are two regular England first divisions teams and there just happens to be order forms inside for ordering 1966 World Cup teams. *large cloth lined playing field *three plastic soccer balls. It only came two so there is an extra one. However the extra one is cracked. *The following for assembling the fencing around the playing pitch: 4 larger plastic corner pieces, 4 plastic end pieces for each side of the goals, 4 large plastic touch line pieces with advertisements on them. 10 pieces of tubing for connecting everything. There is also a piece of red string which isn't mentioned in the assembly instructions so I'm nut if it's needed or not. *4 corner flags which are obviously home made (some did a pretty good job). Since corner flags are listed as accessories on one of the order forms, I assume these didn't come with the game and someone just made them. *two metal rods which I believe are for operating the keepers. One is longer then the other and a different colour so I think it may be a replacement one. *One large blue plastic player on a base which appears to be a special keeper but I'm not sure he is for this edition of the game since I don't see how the rods included will fit in his base. Also there is no spot in the cardboard insert liner for him to fit like there is for the other players and parts. Everything is in excellent condition. It is missing the two goals. The box is good/vg with some damage and the lid is pushed in a little so there are creases on it. There are no playing instructions included but veterans of this game know how it works. The box states it is the "continental" club edition. Not sure what that means but there are various parts and team order sheets inside indicating it is for the 1966 World Cup. One sheet which color on one side is for accessories and the reverse lists previous world cup winners as well as a list of the 16 world cup teams that can be ordered. Another price list inside is dated 1966/67. There is a small sheet included with assembly instructions for the playing field and surrounding supports, etc. There is also a light cardboard "Subbuteo table soccer fixture list" that is in the photos. The reverse is a chart for recording results, etc. NOTE: The shipping may vary depending on your location. Check out my other items! |
