I bought these sight unseen after finding a number of in-depth reviews, including allbinos, after trying out Vortex Diamondback & Viper, Nikon Monarch 7, Zeiss Terra ED, and finding the cost/performance ratio of the latter two to be lacking. I'm very happy that I bought these as the clarity of the glass for this price is unparalleled. Loss of sharpness is apparent around the periphery of the picture but is comparable to what I saw in the Viper, being very well controlled. The size and weight are fine for my purposes (primarily hunting), and I'm a big fan of the short range of motion on the centre focus knob (270deg) as this allows for quick acquisition across the depth of focus without frantic finger rolling. At this stage I have nothing negative to say about these - I like the rubber ... I bought these sight unseen after finding a number of in-depth reviews, including allbinos, after trying out Vortex Diamondback & Viper, Nikon Monarch 7, Zeiss Terra ED, and finding the cost/performance ratio of the latter two to be lacking. I'm very happy that I bought these as the clarity of the glass for this price is unparalleled. At this stage I have nothing negative to say about these - I like the rubber coating for grips, the ocular lens covers are joined by an accordioned bit of rubber so they remain in place at your preferred interpupillary distance. We're in wildfire season at the moment so testing long range, and low light, performance has been a challenge, but viewing out to 500yd I could read house addresses clearly at dusk.

Great for birding
These binoculars are great for serious birding. The way the focus works it can be set for the individual, locked in place and then adjusted for distance easily when you actually see the bird. The field of vision is great and the clarity is stunning. They are not especially light weight but manageable.

Great Quality Binos
Still Testing these Binos , but so Far I love them . Very good Quality Hoya Glass , Strong but not to heavy Magnesium Alloy body with a nice Rubberized overlay . Im not sure I would pay the asking price of $375 , I got them considerably cheaper because they were a Demo pair , but I would Recommend these Binos . By the way they come with a no questions asked Life Time warranty .
