Vintage Art Deco Czech Marbled Swirl Glass Bead Necklace Collar c1930s.

This is a stunning statement piece, an Art Deco necklace made from Czech glass beads that have a wonderful fin like shape creating a striking effect in contrasting pink and black. The pink beads have a marbled swirling pattern through them with darker and lighter shades of pink. This necklace has recently been beautifully restrung on black silk thread giving a nice fluid movement. It sits well on the neck following the contours of the neckline beautifully as you can see in the picture and is very comfortable to wear. Included are two spare beads that could extend the necklace if required by an extra approx. 1.5cm. Alternatively they could be made into a pair of drop earrings by a jeweller to match.
Size/Measurements
The necklace measures approx 16 inches long and each bead measures 3cm long 1.2cm at the widest part. Please note - due to the width and design this necklace will only fit up to a 13 inch neck comfortably (the neck in the picture measures 13 inches and the necklace fits perfectly).

Condition
It is in very good condition there are some minuscule chips to some beads. They are barely noticeable to the eye and do not detract from the piece. The spare black bead has a more significant chip on the back. The necklace has a rolled gold bolt ring clasp which is working well with a good secure fastening. The necklace has recently been restrung with individual knotting and a double row of stringing to give strength a durability so is ready to be worn and appreciated for another generation.
Summary
This is a wonderful vintage necklace rare in shape and form made approximately 90 years ago and would be super stylish and elegant today with strapless black cocktail dress. You would certainly turn heads in this piece and it would be fantastic to add to a collection.
