Very Accurate!
This is a vintage coin bank counter. A very nice old coin bank for your collection. This interesting little coin bank was given out in the 1940's from local banks to promote saving of coins. It's a circa 1940's collector's item. This item was patented on March 31st, 1942. It was made by Steel Products Corp. of California, 915 Linden Ave., South San Fransisco U.S.A.
This particular one is promoting Eureka Federal Savings. It is a two toned colores with peach and mauve like colors. All original paint and mechanically sound and accurate. Some item wear for an item almost 69 years old or so. Should come with a double-ended key to open the bank and to reset the register. We are looking for it by the way. (we will revise once we find it) Measures 4" in diameter and 1 1/2" in thickness, not very heavy unless of course you add coins. Bank registers nickles,dimes and quarters. Right now the counter says $3.45 cause that is how much was counted with the coins in the picture. It has no key and the back will close if the spring latch is pulled. Sold as is, it is a Vintage Circa 1940's item. Great for decorating a wall of these "add - o - banks",old coin mechanical banks in a vintage like atmosphere.
Directions: Pull lever at extreme right insert coin and pull lever to extreme left. bank registers nickles,dimes and quarters.
