ThisThisPresented with the Woman's Journal, a color image of a Royal Occasion: State Opening of Parliament. Queen Elizabeth II is seated on a throne with Prince Philip to one side, the Queen Mother,Princess Margaret and one other woman (Princess Anne?) on her other side.

This is undated but appears to be from the 1950s or early 1960s. In very good condition, approx 8 1/2 X 11 inches with just a bit of toning along the outside edge.

This item and several other interesting items in our Ebay store came from the Estate/Collection of a prominent local businessman and owner of a local pharmacy. The majority of his items were very carefully stored- some appear to never have been used, and most are in very good to excellent condition. Please see photos for more information on the condition of this item - we will do our best to point out any flaws but the photos will tell the story. 

An interesting side note regarding the Estate: one of the items  the auctioneer discovered while going through the contents of the house was a book  which realized $2 million at auction, and contained original artwork by Captain Wallis, once a commander of a penal colony in Australia - along with works by prisoners which until the discovery of the book, were thought to have been painted by Wallis himself.
