You are bidding on this 10" x 7" Picture/Print Tacked to a 15" x 11" Heavy Card Stock Paper. There is a signature on the lower left corner which I believe reads: S E Watters 1882. The picture has texture to it and when viewed through Magnifying glass looks like circles, not dots. It looks woven, but it is paper. This is a very detailed picture of a woman of royalty clutching the hand of a wounded soldier on horseback, also another woman holding a baby. Very detailed as sto the background, showing men on horseback with long spears. Very well done. There are some creases on the backing paper, and a couple nicks and 1 small crease on the lower right corner of the picture. If the picture was framed it would hide these flaws.
This picture came from a collection that my Father in law purchased back in the 1960's. I will be selling off many pieces of this collection in the coming weeks. Keep watching.
