Q. How does the Repair Service work?
A. With a Repair Service order, you send your unit to us. We fix it and send the same one back to you. Shipping both ways is included in the domestic shipping rates, so we will send you a prepaid UPS label by email after you make your payment by Paypal or by calling with your credit card details.

Q. After I purchase the Repair Service, how long does the whole process take?
A. Repairs usually take no more then 5 business days. Most are done quicker. Shipping can take 1-6 days each way by UPS Ground depending on where you are shipping from. For faster shipping options, select "Request Total Amount Due From Seller" to have UPS Overnight added to your invoice.

Q. How do you get the UPS label to me?
A. We use your Payment details (email and shipping address) when creating your incomming label. Please specify your preferred email address when making your payment and allow 24 - 48 hours to receive your UPS label (excluding weekends).

  • IF PAYING WITH PAYPAL: We will send your label to the email address and shipping address on the Paypal payment receipt.  
  • IF PAYING BY PHONE WITH CREDIT CARD: We will confirm your email address and shipping address we see in eBay while you're on the phone.

Q. How do I package the unit?
A. As these units contain delicate electronics and can be damaged in shipping, you will need to pack it well. We recommend that you use a large box (so that there are about 3 inches of extra space on each side), wrap the unit in a layer of bubble wrap and fill in the extra spaces with packing peanuts. Include your contact details (a completed Repair Form) in the box when you ship it.

Q. Is removal of the unit an easy procedure?
A. Unfortunately, we do not have any information on the removal of this unit. We recommend that you take the vehicle to a mechanic for assistance. 

Q. Will I need to code my rebuilt module?
A. No. Since we are rebuilding your unit, no coding will be required when you reinstall it.

Q. Do I need to send the whole cluster?
A. Yes. You need to send the entire cluster including the front and back plastic pieces so we can test it properly.

Q. Will the repair change my mileage?
A. No. Since we are rebuilding your unit, all programming in the cluster (including mileage) will remain the same as when you sent it to us.

If you purchased our REPAIR SERVICE...
Make sure that the part number matches the ones listed in the auction or that the unit looks exactly like the one in the picture. If you have any doubts, call us at 1-866-573-0266 before buying the item. After the item has been paid for successfully, we will email you a UPS shipping label to send your item in for rebuilding. This label signifies you have already paid for your order with us online. For most items, repairs take 1-2 days in the workshop, some may take longer. When the part is done being fixed, we will match it up with your payment and ship it back to you. Shipping charges for both way is included.

Not all parts can be repaired. If your part is not repairable, we will refund your payment (less shipping and a $35 bench fee) and ship it back to you. If you send in an item that does not match the one in the description, we will again refund your payment (less shipping and a $35 bench fee) and ship it back to you. We only ship via UPS for all orders.  Please make sure to package your items well to avoid damage delays.  Please call us at 1-866-573-0266 for more information.

International Shipments: We ship internationally, but you must provide the incoming shipment of your unit to us on your own. We will provide the return shipment to you by UPS Expedited Service. This rate is approximately $150, but if you would like an exact quote, please request this with your address details. The buyer is responsible for paying any import and/or export fees associated with shipping the item, which can include incoming duty, outgoing duty, and/or UPS-assessed brokerage fee (which is determined solely by UPS). If you need an alternative, we can also check the rates with thePostal Service. We would again just need you to message us with your delivery address to get you an exact quote.

BBA's Limited Lifetime Warranty
 
The BBA Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the repair of your unit back to its original operating condition for any problems resulting from manufacturing or workmanship defects. All internal components and labor performed by BBA Remanufacturing Inc are fully covered. It is valid as long as you own the vehicle and is non-transferable. Shipping, removal, diagnostic, coding, programming, software download, and/or mechanic charges are not covered by the warranty. If BBA determines the part is beyond repair, we will either provide a replacement unit, or refund the entire purchase price, at our discretion. Factors that could void the warranty include, but are not limited to: water damage, fire damage, over voltage damage, part being damaged as a result of another defective part in the vehicle, damage caused by jump starting the vehicle, improper use, use in an application for which the part was not intended, or untimely return of core unit (if applicable).
