Breguet rare Vintage chronograph type XX 50’s

The diameter is 37.5 without the crown and 40 with the crown

 Exceptional chronograph stainless steel, manufacturing Breguet. In 1954, the first Type XX chronograph, flyback, were ordered from the factory, by the official services for the French Air Force. This chronograph has a bidirectional bezel graduated to 12, a beautiful dial with steel hands painted white and luminescent and a central second hand. Two auxiliary counters, indicating the seconds at 9 minutes and 3 hours. Arabic numerals are painted on the dial, luminescent. Over the years appeared this beautiful patina. Typical of this model, a Flyback chronograph or "flyback" system by allowing the pressure of the pusher at 4 o'clock, to have a reset and an instant departure. This feature, invented in 1936 allows the user to save a few seconds on the manipulation of the chronograph, which facilitates the calculations airmen making course, including flights to view. A column-wheel chronograph movement with manual winding mechanical caliber Valjoux , spiral "Breguet" screw balance and lever escapement. A power reserve of 30 hours and a screwed that guarantees excellent sealing of the box. Dial, case, movement signed by the manufacturer Breguet.
