You will be able to find rare and vintage  military  surplus electronic stuff, The shop will soon be created and supported by our team of well known Ebayers, ham radio operators, diy audio enthousiasts and military telecommunication equipment and tube collectors. We will be able to provide several items in small as well as in large quantities.

2 pieces  of   VT-4-C also marked as JAN-CG-211  GE tubes, made in USA, 
Codes printed on their bases are 73L4 and 73N4 respectively.

WE WILL BE TESTING ALL VT-4C  TUBES OF OUR STOCK  (YES, WE DO HAVE MANY VT-4C's!)  AT REAL WORLD CONDITIONS, PLEASE READ BELOW ABOUT OUR TEST SETUP
Power supplies
Filament: slow turn on 10Vac
Bias: Regulated adjustable and metered for V and uA set at –76 Volts
Plate: HV fully adjustable lab power supply, having overcurrent, overvoltage, overpower protection and meters indicating V, mA and Watts
 
Testing the 2 tubes, numbered as #28 and #29.
We have selected a plate voltage  of 1200V, bias at  –67V and got the following  readings    #28: 65mA  and  #29: 61mA
Then we selected 1000V, same bias at –67V and got approximately 18mA of plate current.
Grid current meter indicated zero during  above measurements. Error of our readings was less than +/- 5mA.

External condition of aluminum bases is not perfect possibly due to inspection,  insertion in military radios but emission measurements show that both tubes were never really used.
All lettering and logos are readable, please see photos.

SO, THESE TUBES TEST LIKE NEW AND ARE MATCHED!
