I do not have the name but do know he had ties to Wheaton, Illinois. The uniform is in nice shape or its age. The pants are a little different shade of color than the jacket I am not sure if that was by design or if the pants had faded a bit.
This is a large grouping from a USMC dive bomber pilot assigned to VMSB-244, There is a lot to this and not all of it is pictured. Here is what we have: 1. Some wear to the collar and some slight mothing to the waist and cuff bands, zipper is missing a small section.
Nice WW2 KIA group, beloning to AMM2c Walter Frank Burkowski, Bombing Squadron 135. Includes his Aviator's Flight Log Book into which he logged 36 missions (if I am interpreting this correctly), from Dec. 9, 1943 to April 28, 1944.
Reproduction of the classic Tanker Jacket- and one of the nicest jackets we have ever produced. Identical to the WWII Winter Combat Jacket in every way, except that we substituted high quality polar fleece for the wool lining.
Reversible white to OD parka, ski,reversible. Dated 7/14/42. This is the type of parka used by the 10th Mountain Division. Tag on the inside of pocket as shown in pictures. Has all the buttons and stitching is in great shape. Fur has moth damage on the top. Small amount of soiling on the white side, mostly on the cuff area. Overall excellent shape.
This is a matched pair of USAAF Type A-10 Pilot flying gloves. Constructed of soft brown leather with brown wool wristlets. Each glove is marked with the Army Air Forces wing & star insignia. Inside each glove is an original style black and gold makers label with all nomenclature.

This is a WWII US Army Air Forces B-11 Flight jacket. It is a size 36 regular, hood chord has been replaced and has a couple of stains, but in overall great condition. (B14). I lived in Japan for 8 years and collected several nice pieces.
I believe this is wool with a silk shoulder lining - it measures 22" from inside arm pit to arm pit - the sleeve measures 25.5" on the inside from the arm pit to the cuff - the neck measures apx 15" around.
BROWN WOOL BATTLEDRESS TROUSERS. I can find labels, marking, numbers and name on it FRANCE ARMY. ATTENTION: It is in very good condition and never used before. NO HOLES, NO SPLITS, OR RIPS FROM THE YEARS.
Overall good condition. Looks better in real life than on my pictures. On the first picture it looks like it is discolored but it is only due to my bad lighting (color is more even green). Hood is not detachable.
The RAF Aircrew roll-neck sweater was standard issue to all aircrew personnel in the Royal Air Force during WWII. The Best Reproduction available. Like the original, our sweater is made from 100% pure English wool, in Ecru (unbleached white).
This one is a size 14 1/2 x 33. The khaki color is perfect. This shirt is still perfectly fresh and clean. All of the original buttons are present and accounted for and tight. There has never been any patches or insignia on this one ever.
