As the artist developed a stronger sense of self over the next few years, songs like “Control,” “Let’s Wait Awhile,” and “What Have You Done for Me Lately?” flooded the airwaves. Janet grew up with her audience and the hits kept coming. In 1994 she won a Grammy for “That’s the Way Love Goes.” Among her more recent releases are ”All for You” (2001), “Damita Jo” (2004), and “Discipline” (2008).
