Dell Inspiron PP19S Mini 10" 1010 Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz 1GB 160GB Black Win 7

Great PC for those On THE GO:
i'd purchased this PC about 3 years ago right after i'd fixed one of these a month before. the PC is fun to use..BUT!!?? in its factory state, the performance is a little awful. OK..the specs: This PC actually has a HDI Daughterboard that has the Video Card, the RAM, & the Processor all on one card. The card slides into a PCI slot on the motherboard..also..the speed of the NATIVE processor is 1.33Ghz..the RAM is 1GB..& the Video is Intel's GMA500..for this PC..these specs are good..this is because the Mini 1010 doesn't have a fan..so you need something that'll create the least heat..the problem is the speed & performance also suffers because of the specs..Dell DID offer a couple of upgrades for the PC..(they gave 2GB cards)..you have to do some adjustments (a couple of small incisions) because they were meant for the Vista build of these PCs..(which never happened)..you'll also have to get a USB cooling fan pad so the PC won't overheat..you'll also need to get a screen that will support HD resolutions..(the PC has a 1024 x 600 resolution..but for HiDef, you need at least a 1366 x 786 (720p)..more or less..this PC actually can be something special if you do the adjustments..& do some tweaking in MSCONFIG..The Mini 1010 also has an HDMI port..but you really can't enjoy it..ALSO..the Mini 1010 doesn't have a Sata Mode..so you can't really use SSDs..Dell didn't put the AHCI option in the computer..so you'll always have a mediocre PC..(2010 PC)..even with the upgrades & tweaks..you'll never be able to max it out.. Summary: This PC is ONLY for work & web surfing..it is NOT for Videos/Gaming or Music..even with upgrading & tweaking..you won't be able to fully enjoy the PCs features..The PC was a great idea, but it wasn't thought out properly..if i can find the BIOS for this PC with a SATA Option..i'll change my review..but until then? i won't..i wouldn't recommend this PC to anyone under 35 years old..again..thank you all.. Samsung BD-UP5000 1080p HD-DVD Blu-Ray Disc Combo HDMI Player GENUINE
Jul 11, 2016
Very Good: But Not Great:
this is my review about about the BD-5000. I also went & got the LG BH200..but I digress..LOL..ok..here are the specs..& then?? I've give my opinion.. This is a very good player. even though it doesn't go past 1080p (you can also go to 1080p/24fps with the newer players)..it gives you a decent picture & good audio ONCE you've put in the firmware update..(otherwise you're stuck with BASIC DD (Dolby Digital)..there's no DVI..(not that anyone uses it anymore)..it has the Component plugs (1080i thru RCA jacks)..& the regular Composite..(a/v Cables)..so if you just want to enjoy your HD-DVDs again..then this will really fit the bill..& you can watch your Blurays..ALERT??!! if you're using newer Blurays..then you'll need to go to the Samsung site..& d/l the latest firmware update..(which as of now is version 1.7 (2013)..now you can watch your newer Blurays & DVDs w/o any interruptions..NOW MY OPINION!!?? this player has seen its last days..if you're going to get the biggest bang for your HD-DVD..you need to get a Toshiba HD-A30 or the HD-A35 (the most recent of the 2)..it gives you the 1080p/24 plus 7.1 Audio when you put in the 4.0 firmware update..i have BOTH Toshiba Players & the hybrid players..if you're going Bluray..then just get a recent/decent one for 100-200 bucks..& if you want (again) an HD-DVD player..get the Toshibas..i have the Samsung TV's (the first joints) & though the Samsung hybrid player IS good..the Toshiba dwarfs it 5 fold..LOL.. summary..if ALL that you want to do is get another 4-5 years of enjoying your HD-DVDs & your Blurays..then you can get this player..BUT!!?? if you want the MOST out of your movies..MOVE ON FROM THIS PLAYER!!..LOL..ok..i'm done..thank you all for reading..Peace..& God bless you & yours.. very good collection if you're a TRUE Rocky fan..
well?? what can i say?? (smiling)..this is a great collection for those who love Rocky..the only setback is Rocky V (5)..other than that..it's a great family-oriented collection of an underdog who reached the pugilistic pinnacle, lost a couple of key friends along the way, lost all of his fortune, & regained his glory as an unforgettable Philadelphia fighter..in all..it's a must have if you'd want your child(ren) to understand what it takes to succeed..(cheesey-sounding..but it's very important for a child to witness hard work)..(laughing)..so that's my say on it..& thank you..Peace..& God bless you & yours..
