Samsung phone
This phone was purchased as a gift for a friend for Christmas. It performs great and the friend is quite happy with it. Can't ask for more than that.

Philips DVD player
I needed a DVD player to fit in a cabinet in a motorhome that was designed for a VCR. This unit was an answer to that problem. It fits the cabinet as well as works great. My only negative is that it won't play the newer Blue Ray discs but I haven't found a Blue Ray player this narrow. It has solved my problem quite nicely, though, and I am very happy with this purchase.

1997 GMC Jimmy
This vehicle was advertised as "not running, mechanic said it could be a valve lifter". The engine had been overheated to the point of self-destruction - it was partially disassembled when I picked it up so there was no way to trouble-shoot prior to getting it back home to my shop (200 miles away). Seller had to be aware that the engine was toast but led me to believe it had minor problems. I did buy it assuming the engine would have to be rebuilt/replaced so, although the surprise of a totaled engine could have been prevented, I was still satisfied with the purchase. The vehicle does have other mechanical problems that seller mis-represented, but again, it's not my first dog and pony show. The price was low enough I can afford to repair it and have a nice vehicle in the end.
