2 of 2 found this helpful Do your homework before you order. This is not the same as a Dish 20.1 IR #180552 remote which needs no programming to work. What you will receive is a 20.1 IR #180546 that may or may not be compatible with your dish box and will definitely have to be programmed for TV, DVD and AUX which can take hours of experimental programming with code combinations. Nowhere in this listing is it stated as to the difference between these two remotes, as they look IDENTICAL! This is why others are having issues with the unit not working on their TV for volume, mute and other TV functions. If you are replacing a #180552 remote, look elsewhere!
