Works as expected
We have a great 8 year old husky mix who is extremely smart and well trained. Our previous collar (Sportdog) finally reached its life span and we wanted a cheap replacement. The only thing we use it for is hiking/snowshoeing/kayaking out in the wilderness. She usually stays within 50 yards or so, but we let her range as far as she wants when she wants to run/chase critters. If she is out of sight to long we just give her a couple of beeps and she sprints back happily to check in. Even in the middle of a chase. All features on this model seem to work great. Have only used it out to 350-400 yards so far the past couple weeks, but no problems. Wrist strap a bit small. We just used neck strap from our old one.

Nice Looking Replacement
Installation was easier than expected for wife and I. Grey Fade looks really nice on trailer. Seems to be of same quality as original which lasted 13 years. Only time will tell with this one.

Made climbing in Sierra easier.
Worked perfectly on grandsons 24 inch Mt Bike. Added trigger shifters in place of old grip shifters. No real adjustments needed.
