D'Addario ETB92 Nylon Tapewound Bass String Set Long Scale, Medium Ga., 50-105

Smooth and rich sounding!!!
I've been playing bass for over 40 years and have always used round wound strings on all my instruments. When I heard about tapewound, and the different feel and sound they give I thought I'd give it a try. Long story short, my Fender Jazz bass now plays much easier, with no string noise when sliding from fret to fret and now sounds more like an upright bass. These strings are wonderful, easy on the fingers, sound great and add a lot of warmth to the sound. If you're looking for a more acoustic bass sound and easier playing, these strings will fit the bill.
Dunlop 44P.60 Nylon Standard .60mm Light Grey Guitar Picks 12-Pack

Great pick for strumming
I found one of these picks in a stack of random picks I already had and decided to give it a try. I have been playing with tortoise shell picks most of my playing career but when I tried the nylon pick I found it had a softer and warmer sound on my acoustic-electric guitar. It's somewhere between a Fender Thin and a Fender Medium pick in terms of flexibility and I find it perfect for strumming, but still stiff enough for some light lead work. Like most guitarists I keep an assortment of picks for different playing applications and this one is a perfect addition to the collection.
