Perfect replacement for 'dial lite" clocks
I restore vintage clocks as a hobby, and most electric powered models with the illuminated dial feature are lit by this low power neon bulb. It uses only 3 watts, and produces a soft orange glow which is barely visible in daylight and bright enough to read the time at night without being intrusive.
These are shipped in excellent packaging with the resistors, which you may or may not need depending on the application, but it's a nice touch that few others offer.

Perfect factory replacement
The original battery packs in these clocks are fine, but expensive, and ultimately are just 4 parallel wired AA cells anyway. This is a Horolovar manufactured replacement that accepts standard batteries. It fits perfectly and works exactly as it should.
