    Enjoying this tablet

    I drop tablets all the time. Therefore I don't want to spend too much, yet I like good quality. This one is much better than expected. Everything works great. Like new. The sound is fantastic, my other brands I needed ear buds, now I'm free to listen to shows and music without being attached. I play games, watch movies, email, etc. I personally like all the Amazon features! IF I drop this one, I will certainly get another one! I use it around the clock for anything, getting a recipe, watching a show while I'm busy, reading, emailing. It hooks to my wifi easily. And now I don't need to do everything on my cell phone. Which keeps that battery going longer. Love this product! This Amazon Fire, Surpasses them all! I have downloaded a lot and still have not run out of storage! After I break this one, I will get another from same seller!

    Everything I want, nothing I don't!

    Hooray! NO Camera, NO microphone, NO Alexa! I was very unhappy when my beloved old Kindle Fire (3rd generation, 2013) stopped working. I ordered the current 7 inch Fire Tablet, and disliked it intensely; it wouldn't let me control the apps that showed on the home screen; I had to put electrical tape on the !@#$% cameras and mic (I like my privacy), and make sure that Alexa didn't reactivate when there was a software upgrade. It also feels cheap. I was delighted to find an identical replacement for my old tablet. No fuss, no camera, no microphone, no Alexa. I love it.

    Works well

    I bought 2 of these used. They work well. Seems to have a better selection of apps in the kindle app store than an older one I had. Pretty hard to beat for the (USED) price. Also, I LEARNED RECENTLY THAT IF YOU SEND PDF OR DOC BOOKS TO YOUR KINDLE EMAIL ADDRESS AND TYPE "CONVERT" IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF THE EMAIL, KINDLE WILL CONVERT THE BOOK TO MOBI FOR YOU. I tried it and it works pretty well.

    Installed new system onto it and it works fine

    It took a bit of work but it was worth it. I took a chance and was rewarded with a working kindle fire. I use it to watch Netflix, YouTube, listen to audio books and read books. Oddly enough the new rom does not do well with a kindle reading application so I use FBreader which does well. I'm happy with it.
