LARGE RUSTIC SWEDISH PINE BENCH / DAY BED CIRCA 1850. VERY HEAVY ITEM. IDEAL FOR A SUMMER HOUSE OR GARDEN ROOM. LIFT UP SEAT WHICH ALLOWS THE BASE TO BE PULLED OUT TO FORM A BED. N.B IT NO LONGER FUNCTIONS PROPERLY AS A BED BUT IS IDEAL STORAGE SPACE. LOSSES TO LEFT BACK REST AND ARM, LOSSES TO ON OF THE FRONT MIDDLE LEG, REPAIR TO BACK LEG. CLEAR EVIDENCE OF DEAD TREATED WORM WITH LOSSES TO BASE BOARDS. LATER PAINT WITH LOSSES.
ROLL TOP ARMS WITH CARVED SWAGS TO THE ARMS AND BACK. STANDING ON SCROLLED LEGS WITH PAW FEET. ORIGINAL UPHOLSTERY WHICH IS IN GOOD ORDER FOR AGE, BUT IN NEED OF RECOVERING TO MAKE THIS SOFA TRULY STUNNING.

Here is a fine quality antique English Regency mahogany chaise longue, circa 1830, which has been newly upholstered, in good condition. The chaise features (when facing) a left-hand raised sweeping upholstered arm.
This is one of those pieces that as soon as you lay down on it you start thinking where exactly you can fit it in the house, it is 10/10 on the comfort scale, its naturally been reupholstered at some point and repadded in the head area, it’s now like a bed with a medium firm very comfortable built in pillow, honestly I love this.
The sofa is made from solid & sturdy Giltwood and retains the original silky gold horse hair filled upholstery which is in overall splendid original condition with the usual delightful amount of wear to the material and show frame as you would expect from a piece of such age.
Very handsome William IV mahogany scroll end sofa c.1830. Beautiful carved cresting rail in solid mahogany featuring a massive carved scallop shell over scrolling arms with carved fronts. Loose buttoned seat cushion and arms freshly upholstered in a charcoal black velvet.
