Great Refurb - Kid loves it & its durable
This thing is great. We bought it to replace my daughter's 1st gen iPad after I accidently knelt on the screen - oops. the 1st gen no longer supported the apps that she wanted and didn't run all that smooth w/ the ones that it did support. Anyways - I'm sure other reviewers can do better w/ the spec's and processor speed & whatnot - This one works great for us, it supports all the apps/games my daughter, 4yo, uses and does not crash on them. screen is large & resolution is very good and it is very durable. I like the bigger screen for her so I don't have to worry so much about her developing eye problems from looking at a tiny screen. we have a beefy case on it that I only spent $15 on (not an otterbox or anything expensive) & it has survived many drops from the table (onto hardwood) and top of bunk bed (onto carpet). I use it for shopping apps and like the big screen vs. my little 8" LG tablet. It runs fast and very rarely buffers when watching videos on Netflix or youtube (tho that my be my super awesome wifi). This unit in particular (not talking about iPad 2s in general) was exactly as described and I am actually impressed w/ its quality - screen was brand new and all internal components seem to work perfectly. I was a tad worried about it being a refurb from prior school usage. there was very minor markings on the outer case which were covered by the protective case we put on it anyways. I deff suggest this to anyone looking for a reasonable priced iPad that will still run all apps. I would buy another one if I had any excuse to do so.

large clear screen ~ great battery life but take awhile to charge
My grandkids love the features and how easy it is to use.. ( ages 6 & 8 ). We have a cover coming to help protect unit. For the refurbished condition it acts and plays perfectly with no indications it was ever back to the factory. With the larger clear screen they both sit next to one another to watch and help on another depending on what app they are running. We have the Wi-Fi model and was fairly easy to do initial setup. The control buttons are easily used and even though we never looked up a manual for it the kids and I can access the volume and turn it off and on.. I have tweaked the screen setting for better battery life by turning down the bright intensity which for their apps is not really needed. I think for the bucks spent it was their most enjoyed Christmas gift.. They are right at home with it as both are all ready using school tablets and pads learning them at early stage. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone desiring Wi-Fi capability to use.. It has many more features on it than I can glow about as I am only used to desktops & recently dove into notebook.. LOL..

The Good: Great Price The Bad: NOT NEW Apple Quality Has cosmetic bumps and bruises New screen and battery I spent a lot of time looking for a convenient way to google info in the bedroom while watching TV. I wanted to spend around a hundred bucks for a solution. I thought a new tablet to be the easy solution, but all of my research lead me to some really poor quality, slow, inconvenient new tablet solutions. one review that I read actually suggested getting a slightly older high quality product like an Apple i-Pad. It clicked in my mind. Why not? This I-Pad has been refurbished, I'm guessing the screen and battery replaced, HD wiped clean and fresh OS installed. The price was in line with what I wanted to spend, buy not demanding grade "A" cosmetic quality. Yes it used and has bumps and bruises. I coved them easily by buying a $13 hard case. I am very happy with this i-Pad; it has Apple quality, and performs exceptionally well.

Great IPAD 2 Tablet/ From a honest Seller
Have used IPad Tablets on the job for years. Limited amount of free time to use it. So for several years I have been looking for an older IPad/ refurbished/ at around $100. So I have been watching ebay/ Woot/ Groupon/ and Walmart... The problem with it taking several years is either the descripition was not true when it arrived, or it came broken, or battery life was 30 minutes. Finally an honest shop on ebay was selling IPAD2 for well under $75. I took the chance and I bought a couple. Well it can true to the descripition, refurished, clean, screen prefect, Battery life very good (all day with constant use). And it was white. Updated to 9.3.5 two cameras, runs all the major apps, and Netflix and youtube. For $64 it was a great deal and the seller had 51 to sell and several other models too.

Love it looks brand new I put a cover on it right away I gave it a 4 only because you cannot upgrade the ios any higher than a 9 wish I can find a way to do so I will try though very easy to use fast for it to be a 2nd generation I can see the letters well when I enlarge them you can download a lot of Apps over all I love it will keep this one for sometime and will get a more up to date one in the near future

Love this Ipad
This I pad does everything. I downloaded lots of games for my 3 year old grandson.He loves it. It is easy for him to use. He had no trouble navigating between screens. It is marvelous.The size is perfect. I did purchase a "kid proof" cover for it so he doesn't break it when he drops it (and he does) It works perfectly. I'm so happy with this purchase. Now I can have my own I Pad for myself again instead of having to share mine with him!

I am so happy with the iPad, it was so easy to learn how to use it. I was surprised at how easy it is to handle since it is larger than I thought it would be. The screen is so clear, and there are so many programs and options available on it. I love the facebook option, and there are so many books available to read on it. I don't get to use it!
My wife loves it and uses it to call over seas to her mother and a mutual friend of ours. She also listens to Vietnamese opera which to me sounds like the neighbors cat in heat or if there are more than one singer several cats in heat. It is unfortunately loud with good fidelity which I can hear all over the house when she doesn't wear her ear buds. I am very hard of hearing and I hear it too well.

Best refurb I have come across
Was pretty skeptical while ordering this but after your child destroys a brand new iPad Pro with one power slam, it's ok to take a step back. I am pleased with its performance so far and would recommend. Battery life fantastic. Screen, camera not the best but you can't complain about any "fine print". It is what it is. After buying a rugged case, I let my child slam dunk whatever and it is still breathing. Kudos!

My 2nd "refurb" iPad. Can't live without it. You have to check the side ports for scratches from usage and plugging in. Also the edges...for mishaps and drops. Both times I found all are in mint condition. All Apple attachments were included. Gotta have 32GB...gotta have iPad Air2 or later. There's a finite # of these available...one day, you won't be able to buy it, refurbished or otherwise. So pleased I got it. Price was great.

we wanted a less expensive i-pad for my son do use during therapy. We didn't want to invest a lot as we are anticipating he will be on video therapy less than a year. We found this works well, maintains a sufficient amount of battery life and provides enough system resources to do what we need him to do. If you are looking for high powered or the latest technology, don't look here. Your standards should not be too high if you are looking at a 2nd gen. I-pad at this point.

My initial impression of the item was excellent! This item looks great, and the case is convenient. I had some set up issues and sent an email for assistance. After the initial "We've received your email" still no reply after 9 days. I trudged through and did what I could only to find out this item won't even install common apps, such as Netflix. The battery life is inadequate for any real on the go entertainment. FaceTime and the internet work, not sure that's enough reason to keep it.
