Canon Printer Ink Cartridges
You can bring your photos to life with Canon ink cartridges. Canon puts a significant amount of research into making sure their ink cartridges bring a high level of quality to their lines of inkjet printers. Designed to provide vibrant colour and deep blacks, Canon ink technology is as important to the print process as the printers themselves. What is a Canon CL ink cartridge?
Fading of photo-quality prints has been an industry challenge since home photo printing was introduced. Canon CL ink cartridges have been developed for use with their PIXMA line of printers with the goal of extending photo-quality print life. These ink cartridges have undergone rigorous testing in order to keep your precious photo memories bright and lifelike for decades.
In addition to long-lasting prints, photos printed using Canon CL ink cartridges provide a much larger colour palette for PIXMA printers to utilize, in addition to a number of accessories. Brighter red hues make for more detailed and subtle colour transitions, further enhancing photo quality and clarity and utilizing optimal toner. Made for professional photographers who want the finest details to be picture-perfect, these inks offer an even wider and more dynamic range not just for colour but for blacks and greys as well. The CL cartridge lines' dynamic black inks enable PIXMA printers to provide images with realistic depth and character. What is a Canon PG ink cartridge?
Designed for use with the brand's MAXIFY line of printers, Canon PG and PGI ink cartridges are made to withstand the stress of continual everyday use, and these models offer a number of accessories. Excelling in high-volume environments, the PG line of inks is equally adept at handling home or office use. Offered in XL cartridges and sold as individual cartridges for each colour, PG series products are designed to waste no ink in the printing process. Refill cartridges are available.
PG series inks are pigment-based, resulting in long-lasting photo and text prints. These inks are both smudge-proof and highlighter-resistant. This means you won't have to worry about ruining documents fresh off the printer when highlighting details for the next meeting. How do you know which ink to use?
- Check your printer's manual if it is available. The ink type should be listed in the product instructions, and there should be a section about available accessories for the product.
- If no manual is available, inspect the front, sides, and back of the printer. The type of ink required is sometimes displayed on a sticker attached to the device.
- If you are still unable to find the type of ink needed, gently lift the front cover of the printer to expose the cartridges themselves. The ink cartridge currently in use will be labeled. You may need to gently pull the cartridge out in order to see the label so you will know what type of refill cartridge to purchase.
