I refurbished an old Hall's safe recently and needed them for my restoration, so I had them custom made by a graphic artist. The emblems are printed on a heavy-duty, exterior grade adhesive. I also had the gold Hall's Safe Co. lettering, and Hall's Patent emblems reproduced.
It measures approx., 14 1/4" X 9 1/2" X 9" & it comes in wonderful shape with working combination. It's possible this is a Salesman Sample but we can't find any info that backs that it is. Pictures can be enlarged and will show the condition well.
This appears to be an old collection charity box in the shape of a hospital bed. It was likely to collect monies for sick hospitalized patients. It was administered by the "Dials Benevolent Society" of England.
Nice bank that appears to have had issues that were repaired many years ago. Bottom corner looks like it was bent or broken and repaired. The sides seem to have been reseated and sealed and there is a crack in the top that looks like it was welded to keep it from breaking further.

Image cast on door of boy with a dog. Top of bank is cast with image of an angel. Bottom of bank is cracked through and there is loss of metal. There is rust on the interior of bank and bottom. Money box has wiggle in cast iron frame, as does the combination dial.
First of all, the door you get will have a different number than the one in the photos. This is a Metal Safe Deposit Box Door. It measures about 5" x 3" and weighs about 1lb 8oz. It has a right hand Sargent & Greenleaf double nose lock and comes with two keys for the left side of the lock.
