- Camping - Camping folding chairs are weather-resistant and water-resistant. They may have a black metal frame and vinyl- or plastic-coated covers. Many of these chairs come with a separate waterproof bag with a nylon strap for storage and carrying.

What types of seats are available for folding chairs?

How do you fold and store a folding chair?
- Folding chairs typically have one or more hinges that lock into place in order to prevent them from collapsing while they are in use.
- To fold the chair, the hinge will need to be released.
- This could be accomplished by putting manual pressure on the hinge, flipping the lock, or pushing on a lever.
- Some foldable units do not have any hinges.
