A Poole Pottery vase, back stamped with the dolphin mark. It also bears the X mark of senior painter Gwen Haskins. About 10" tall x 12" x 7". Haskins worked at Poole from 1938 to 1977. The backstamp and decorator's mark date this piece between 1966 to 1977.

Marked: On the bottom of the base of the vase with "Poole" and a dolphin, beleow the dolphin, "Pottery", then, "England": the mark in use at the studio between the late 1960s and the early 1980s. Scribed with the paintress' mark for Patricia Wells, a decorator employed at the pottery between 1959-73 (pictured).
